Every booking includes ZMP Protection. If accidental damage happens during Approved Use, your exposure is capped at the Refundable Deposit — not the value of the robot.
Why this exists
Nobody should host a $50,000 event and worry about the bill.
When we tried to rent a humanoid robot ourselves, the answer was always the same: a giant deposit, fine print we couldn't follow, and a sentence that ruined the booking — "if anything happens, you're liable for the full value of the robot."
We wouldn't have signed it. So we didn't ask anyone else to.
ZMP Protection caps your worst case at the Refundable Deposit. The robot's $70,000+ value is our problem — not yours.

Both tiers cover Approved Use. Excluded Events — misuse, operating outside the approved location, unapproved modifications, theft through negligence — remain your responsibility under both tiers.

Approved Use — covered

- Operating the robot outside the approved location
- Modifying the firmware or hardware without prior written approval
- Reselling, transferring, or letting someone outside the booking use it
- Theft or loss through negligence (e.g., leaving it unattended in public)
- Deliberate misuse
Decision logic
Should you add ZMP Protection+?
The base tier is included with every booking and caps your worst case at the Refundable Deposit. Protection+ takes that worst case to zero. It's a 15% premium on the daily rate. Here's how to decide.
Add Protection+ if your event has any of these:
- Crowded venue, trade-show floor, or public-facing activation
- Hands-on guest interaction (handshakes, photo ops, Q&A)
- Children or unmanaged crowds within reach of the robot
- You'd rather not think about it — even small risk feels like too much
Skip Protection+ if:
- Small private event, controlled room, no public access
- Operator-led demo with limited guest contact
- Content shoot or filming with a small crew you supervise

There's no judgment call when your rental ends. We have video of the robot's condition on delivery and collection, and you can watch both.

On delivery
We record a short video documenting the robot's condition the moment it arrives. You sign nothing. We just press record.

On collection
A second video is recorded when we pick the robot up. The two videos sit side-by-side in your account — the only basis for any deposit decision.

Deposit returned
Refundable Deposit returned within 7 days of collection on clean return. If there's accidental damage and you're on the base tier, we draw from the deposit and return the balance — both videos and the math are visible to you.
FAQ
Honest answers.
What happens if a guest bumps into the robot?
That's exactly what ZMP Protection is built for. A guest bump at your booked event is Approved Use — your exposure is capped at the Refundable Deposit on the base tier, and zero on Protection+.
Will I lose my deposit if there's a small scratch?
Normal wear from intended use is on us. We only draw from the Refundable Deposit for actual accidental damage that needs repair, and the Handover Record videos show exactly what changed between delivery and collection. The math is visible to you.
Can I add ZMP Protection+ after I book?
Yes. Contact us before delivery and we can add it to your reservation. The simplest path is to tick the box at checkout when you book.
When does the Refundable Deposit come back?
Returned within 7 days of us collecting the robot, on clean return. Time to appear in your account depends on your bank — typically 5 to 10 business days after we send it.
Is ZMP Protection an insurance product?
No. ZMP Protection is a contractual cap on your liability for accidental damage during Approved Use — not an insurance product. The full terms live in your Rental Terms Agreement, which you sign at checkout.
What if the robot is stolen?
Theft or loss through negligence — for example, leaving the robot unattended in a public place — is an Excluded Event under both tiers. If you're worried about a high-traffic environment, add Protection+ and use operator support.
