Who buys. Who rents.

Buying makes sense for

  • Research universities and AI labs.
Daily programming, year-round. 250+ days/year of active use.
  • Robotics companies and integrators.
Building products on the platform. Need full hardware access.
  • High-frequency content creators.
Robot-led content multiple times per week with substantial reach.

Renting wins for

  • Event planners.
Weddings, brand launches, trade shows, corporate events.
  • Marketing teams.
Brand activations, product launches, store openings.
  • Agencies and producers.
Content shoots, video production, photo days.
  • Schools and smaller programs.
    Demos, classroom sessions, occasional research.
  • Anyone testing the idea.
Try it first before committing $70,000.
  • Anyone who just wants their event covered.
One booking. 1 to 3 days. Done.

Same robot. Same model. No ownership costs.

Rent it. Test it. Then decide.

From $299/day • Same flagship • Damage cover included • Booked online

How much does a Unitree G1 cost?
The flagship — the G1 EDU Ultimate E — runs around $70,000 in the US market with sales tax. The Basic version starts at $18,000 but has no dexterous hands and isn't programmable. The EDU Standard at $35,000 is programmable but also has no dexterous hands. We rent the Ultimate E — the version in the viral videos.
Where can I buy a Unitree G1?
Through authorised resellers in the US, EU, and other markets. We don't sell the G1 — we rent it. If you want to test the robot before committing $70,000, a daily rental gets you the same flagship configuration delivered to your door.
What's the total cost of owning a Unitree G1?
Over three years, you're looking at $72,000–$84,000 once insurance, joint repairs, batteries, storage, and depreciation are factored in. Renters skip all of that — you pay only on the days you use it.
What's the difference between G1 Basic and G1 EDU?
The Basic is a demo unit — walks, waves, runs preset gestures. No programming, no dexterous hands. The EDU configurations are programmable. The Ultimate E is the flagship with five-finger hands and full capability.
Can I rent a Unitree G1 instead of buying?
Yes. From $299/day for 3 to 30 days (you operate it) or from $1,875/day for 1 to 3 day events with a trained operator (we run it for you). Both include delivery, collection, damage cover, and Bespoke Performance — a custom routine pre-programmed before delivery.
Is the Unitree G1 worth buying?
For research labs, AI companies, and daily content creators using it 250+ days a year, yes. For everyone else, the math favors renting — specialty insurance, joint repairs, battery replacement, storage, and depreciation all add up. Renting eliminates all of that.
